Attachment Styles

The way we connected, or attached, to our parents, or our primary caregivers, affects every aspect of every relationship we've ever had. And, it will continue to do so, unless we become aware of what happened, how we handled it, and how to shift to a more secure style of relating.

This Continuum is based on the Four Attachment Styles: Anxious Preoccupied, Dismissive Avoidant, Fearful Avoidant, and Secure Attachment Style. It reveals how your parent(s) may have acted toward you as a child, the emotions you experienced during childhood as a result, the core wounds and triggers experienced, what your current needs might include, your level of emotional and intimate vulnerability, how you may show up as an adult, and more.
